My puppies slept through most nights when we brought them home at 10 weeks old, but some do not sleep through the night at all and need to potty. My girl puppy will sometimes pee at 8pm (taken out at 10 but does nothing) and then won't wake up until 9am to want to go out. My male puppy will go at 10pm and he will wake up about 7:30-9am and he will use the pad in my bedroom if he needs to, although he more often needs to poop in the morning and will hold the pee most morning until I get up about 9am. All puppies are different though. I know some that have 3 year old Yorkies that can not sleep through the night without a potty break. My almost 10 year old Yorkie will go out at 10pm and he does not like to be disturbed before 9am, so if I get up at 7 I leave him in bed and then go back and get him up at 9 and he just sleeps until I come back and wake him. He is loving the electric blanket I leave on for him right now!
