Unfortunately we have issues with the house being too moist most of the year so we don't use a humidifier for the 2 months that it is dry. With the fish tanks in it and stuff we don't need more moisture in the air. We have a small unit if someone is sick we can put in their bedroom at night, but otherwise we just don't add more moisture to the air. It would probably help for this short period of time, although most of my static issues are outside the house. When I go shopping and then come home I still have static built up. If I don't go anywhere I don't have a lot of static so it isn't really an at home kind of problem. The fish tanks do help a lot.
I just felt so bad for Raksha getting shocked on the tongue like that by her mommy. She was mad at me over it too though. Like "How dare I let my daughter treat her that way!" Her face was just so funny!
