I bet that's it, the crate as they often stick their nose in the square & just rest it there. Once he stops rubbing it off it should grow back. Do a search for pics of ringworm as it can look diff from animal to animal & from spot to spot. If it's ringworm he will be rubbing it on anything & everything as it itches. Oh & Welcome to YT
