Does anyone have issues with Static?

I am a total static bomb and everything I touch gets shocked. When I go to the store I get shocked constantly. I went shopping with my daughter yesterday and when we got home she picked up her 10 month old puppy and the puppy licked her on the nose and got shocked!

Raksha would not even look at my daughter! I wish I had gotten picture of the face Raksha was making toward her because it was so funny! Raksha was looking at her like "Why would you do that to me when I was so happy to see you? How could you do such a thing to me? What did I do to deserve that?" It was crazy funny and I could not stop laughing. I had to get Raksha from my daughter and cuddle her and tell her it was okay and it was only an accident. I made sure I touched Rowan on his side before I let his face near mine so that it wouldn't happen to us. LOL

Any good advice on how to relieve static? I have problems all winter with static.
