I would check with the vet and see about either increasing his activity and/or cut back on the dog food, and perhaps add some few veggies so he is not left hungry....he may be getting too heavy to feel secure to be jumping like he used to jump....is he still getting the same amount of exercise? I would first increase his exercise activity and see if that makes a difference in his weight...if not, then I would decrease the food some, as well as maybe split it into separate feedings, a couple of times a day, with a tablespoon of veggie healthy snacks either with his meal so he gets "full" or between meals, so he is not so hungry...I have a real problem with "being hungry".....it kills me to see them hungry!
