I am looking for any type of information on yorkshire terriers being classified as being hypoallergenic dogs. We have two 9 year old yorkies Shamus 3.5 lbs and Kateri 2 lbs both are loving dogs and my grandaughter loves them both. My problem is that my daughter is going through a divorse and her soon to be ex husband is creating issues between our dogs and the safety and welfare of our granddaughter who has asthma. Four generations of my wifes family has asthma and have allergies to certain types of dogs/cats etc. (grand daughter, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother) but none of them are allergic to shamus or kateri. I'm looking for some type of documentation on this subject for court.
