Oh goodness dont feel bad. I have a 18 mo old brat that I have had since she was 4 mo and she STILL wont go outside. I have tried everything the books say and all the suggestions from the wonderful people here. I have an area in my LR gated off with a potty pad and holder in it along with a bed and her toys and she has her food and water there. It is maybe a 5 ft wide and 10 ft long area so she has plenty of room.
As she has gotten older she has gotten very good about the pad and when she goes she lets me know right away so she can have a hug a good girl and a cheerio !!! LOL And her pad changed. I am ok with this for now, but I think when the weather gets warmer i will try it outside again, she has gotten better about everything as she gets older. So just keep at t.
I live in Iowa and we have had it pretty bad so far so it will be a few months before I try it outside again.
