They are easy peasy. As a quilter I have left over flannel pieces, 100 percent cotton only as a mix of fibers will melt!!!!!! You can use plain cotton but I like the feel of flannel.
Decide how big you want it and what shape, square rectangle, etc ..... lay two pieces right sides together......sew all three sides together and about 1/2 of the last side. Turn right sides out, pour in a few cups of inexpensive white rice, dont over fill, just about 1/2 the bag full. Now s e w up the opening either by hand or machine. You can also use corn feed l ike you u s e for chickens, not regular popcorn!
Microwave for 1 minute or 2 as it depends on how much you put into your bag. These can get extremely hot so beware you don't burn yourself or your Yorkie. They are great for cold feet too.
