Adoption is fine for some but not for all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with buying a puppy from a reputable breeder. I personally have adopted pets from shelters that have been fine - but then I have bought pure breeds dog that have been fine too.
There is nothing that can compare to the purebred dog - bred for health, structure and temperament. Quite simply you know what you are getting and the support of the breeder for the lifetime of your pup....
