I have never seen a dog lick the floor unless it was licking up some food. Do you ever use chemicals on your floor? I see you use a steam mop. That should kill any bacteria if it is hot enough to produce steam that actually hits your floor.

Maybe something is being tracked in on people's shoes? There must be something that attracts them to it. Animals that lick things for no apparent reason can be lacking in some nutrient.
