I thought when you are given an antibiotic you have to administer it all until it's done? You shouldn't have any on hand at any given time unless you are already giving it right?

I also want to say that yes, you do really need to puppy proof your house, and now! I learned the hard way. I had a foster that got into everything. He loved to eat. He found a container of bird seed and pushed it over and ate a whole pile of it. His poop looked like a bird seed cake. He got into trash constantly. The thing that did him in was we think he got into some rat poison or some type of poison. Unfortunately we could not save him. Something as simple as crating him when I was not watching him would have saved his life!
