If she is running loose in the house, or secured safely in your back yard, the issue is not nearly as dangerous....but if she is being allowed to go out front, and she sees something she wants to go after, she will go straight into the street and probably get killed by a passing car. My dogs are never allowed out of my back yard, so I will let others address walking on leash, etc....but I would NEVER have a dog unrestrained and running loose, out in the front yard....too many loose dogs that ADORE eating Yorkies....too many loose cats that tempt yorkies to a game of chase!
