We use this at all household doorways. That way I do not have to worry about Mario "getting/sneaking out" without being seen, Mario tripping kiddo or someone stepping on Mario in a doorway ie carrying packages etc... He is trained to wait for a release command, and stay regardless of what else I (or anyone holding the door) say until I say the release command.

Curbs have to be different for us since Mario has to learn intelligent disobedience as a service dog for my kiddo.

Keep up the training, and you will always have a happy, well-trained, eager learner who is a sweetie .
