I have tried to teach Oliver to shake for awhile now. I always give up- but i read this thread yesterday and got some new ideas. I have never used clicker method so I didn't go for that but I used sit and "paw" and used the treat as a way to get him to do what i wanted. He picked it up in just a coupld of minutes. Sometimes he gets so excited he throws both paws at me!
whever he learns a new trick he'll preform it, get his treat, and run around the house a couple of times and then sit in front of me to do it again. Does anyone else get a kick out of their puppies? haha He's hilarious! He's sprint around to et all the excited energy out so he can preform a trick! I hope everyone is havign a good day! My bab y is sleepin gwhile I type up a 5 page paper! Blah!!!! Have a good day!
