I did the same thing, interesting thread I have been looking for the van mint one everywhere, so now I know. I think the pups like the meat and chicken flavored toothpaste better than the mint one, but LOL one of the reasons I brush Lola's teeth is so her breath will not smell like dog food, so the beef and chicken flavored toothpaste defeats that purpose. I don't like the smell of the Armor Hammer one as well, but it will do for now. I have a minty gel that I got somewhere, so after her teeth get brushed, I dip the brush in the mint flavored gel and that helps with the breath
