Both your pups are to young to be mated. My suggestion to you is get both fixed. Breeding dogs is not an inexpensive hobby and could endanger your female's life she is way too young and probably not had her first heat.

Hope you are able to listen to what I have to say. I chose to not breed and yes it did cross my mind. Lynn
