Congratulations on your new baby! I agree with Matese, because he is very young, be careful what you use on him.
I have used organic coconut oil to slow down the fleas to catch them when I spot one. It's safe if your pup licks it. Just don't get it in the eyes. I use it on my own skin and found that it stings if I accidentally rub a little in my eyes.
Regular dog shampoo is enough for the bath. Apply generously, gently massaging, and let it sit.
