Breeding, shelling, and raising/vetting a litter will no doubt cost you more than $3000 dollars and some sleepless nights if you need to help feed a new puppy who is not doing as well as the others. A C section will cost that at least because you never know how many pups they will have.
I know this all sounds discouraging, but consider the huge amount of experience that is being shared with you.
