 I think He's got it!!!!!
Good thought about a urinary problem and using a pee pad would certainly help to see color if there is a problem. When we went back to our old house during the course of dealing with this problem and he did use the pad and things did not look odd as far as urine color so I did rule that out early on.
Just thought I'd give an update on the front hall peeing that Deuce was doing. Well I think we nailed the problem. It appears he was peeing due to stress. When I have a crowd over, especially children, I put the belly band on him. Christmas was the Ultimate test. It appears that when he wears that he understands it means no pee and he signals to go out when necessary no matter how many people are here. I am so happy "we" figured this out. This forum is wonderful!
