Now I wonder, if you'd taken the sister and treated her as you did Ella, would she have become like Ella is now? Or would you have ended up with a "non-mushy, lap loving, face licker" because that is just who she is...? I mean, is each one inherently who they are, or does their environment determine it? Aiyaiyai, that's what I get for staying up all night on my night off!! I do believe we ultimately determine how/who they become, however--with love, determination, training, hope and a lot of prayers!! 'Course sometimes one can't tell what they got., let alone "who"...(see below) |
