when my husband traveled to the breeder, he was choosing between two sisters, they seemed very similar temperament wise, so he chose the one who I fell in love with via photos-just the sweetest face. In the beginning, our girl was sweet and loving but within weeks, she became the most affectionate dog you could imagine. She is a total snuggler and face licker. BUT all six of us are very affectionate and spend a lot of time with her, she is our lovey. We saw her sister this summer, who is very sweet and loving, but you can see she isn't the mushy, lap loving, face licker that Ella is. So I think it is an example of nature versus nurture since they both started off so similar? |
