Piper is independent; she wasn't aloof, but she wasn't a snuggler either. I didn't push insofar as holding her or picking her up, etc. as I wanted to give her choices and wanted her trust. During this last year, Piper has become much more affectionate--giving smooches, crawling onto my lap, standing up in order to be picked-up...I don't believe you have anything to worry about--at all. Paisly sounds like a secure, confident girl who will probably become more and more affectionate as she settles in...Thank goodness you found this little doll and got her away from that rough place. You and Paisly are meant to be...! |
