I think the issue is usually with puppies. They will put anything in their mouths much like a human baby. The dog is two. Hardly a pup but still keep an eye out. If the plants are in a place she can't get to, or the pot is high, there is no reason to get rid of the plants. Usually a dropped leaf indoors is much easier to spot, so be diligent in picking them up.
Outside is different. Sago palm seeds are extremely toxic, but they need to be eaten to be poisonous. Our neighbor at MIL's house had one. They ended up taking them out but Uni and my fosters never tried to eat one. It just depends on the dog. You will know once you get to know her better.
