My Bear had mites when I got him at 8 weeks and I used an over the counter med from a pet store. Today when Bear saw the vet he asked if he ever had been treated for ear mites, I said yes and told him what I used to treat it. He said he did not feel any product you can buy over the counter for ear mites would work but was unable to see any in Bear's ears today.
