Piper was about three when I brought her home about 1 1/2 yrs ago; I, too, was told she was housebroken, but not so much! Anyway, it appeared she had puppies shortly before coming to me and I believe she didn't have much, if any, training of any kind. No matter, I fell in love with her immediately and love her more every day. Anyway, Piper is just now what I consider to be housebroken, but still iffy when I'm not home. Just be consistent, patient, keep your sense of humor, and give tons and tons of praise with whatever reward(s), Lady Bug responds to...Piper is food motivated and receives a little bite of chicken when she does her business outside. For awhile there, I was almost resigned and truly believed Piper would never get it, didn't care about getting it, and would remain forever UN-housebroken--But don't give up!!! As I said, persistence and patience go along way! You and Lady Bug will succeed in all kinds of ways!
