Both of mine love the CET vanilla mint". So much so that they even enjoy licking the brush after brushing to get every bit of the flavor off.
Maybe if you just try putting the toothpaste on the brush and letting him lick it he will get more comfortable and begin to allow you to put the brush in his mouth. That's how I started mine off.
