Obviously, it has been a complete, nightmare time for us all. On top of it, my mother was admitted to hospital too...fortunately she came home yesterday, so will be able to spend Christmas Day with us.
My father's funeral will take place at 11.45 a.m. on New Years Eve - it's been a terrible year for us, and we need to start the New Year anew.
Andy and I have taken the decision that my mother will come and live with us as of 4th January, once the funeral is over and my son has gone back to his home in Vienna, and we've been able to sort 'her new room' out. From there we can make serious, long-term decisions.

I'm happy to hear your mom was released from the hospital and that she will be living with you come the new year. Also glad your son and his family are with you, although I wish it were under happier circumstances. Wishing you and your entire family peace and comfort, Sally.
