Whatever he is on now, and he is eating it, WAIT until he is settled into your home and he is not bombarded by new home, new owner, new yard, new schedule, new, new, new....and he is a timid little baby....start slowly, give him time to adjust to you and his new home and surroundings and schedule....then you can concentrate on changing his food if that is necessary.....slowly, over time. What is he on now?

Bless you for taking on this unfortunate little soul and making life for him joyous, meaningful, and full of love and security!!!
