Great advice above. Consistency and reward and praise. Also, limit his roaming room in your home while training. Maybe 1 room at a time where he can be supervised. Increase the room as he improves.
Take him outdoors frequently on schedule. In addition to after feeding, I would do it when he first wakes and before bedtime.
Use keywords like "Go potty" and "good potty!"
Clean up accident areas thoroughly to prevent the scent from attracting him to potty there again.
