Right on, Yorkiemom1

You pointed out the main points that unsuspecting buyers deal with - not having a good health guarantee from the breeder, experience and testing!

I did not know about these when I purchased my first darling Yorkie, but learned quickly and $$$$ later before I got my second baby 12 years later. When I got my second baby (that was a show dog pup that was deemed to be too small to breed by the very reputatable show breeder) the binder of testing and DNA, and generational presentations she gave me just floored me! After reading all that data I immediately decided that that breeder could not have made much money on the sale because she had invested so much preparing to breed this outstanding little girl I got.

It is what we dont know that I feel YorkieTalk does such a great job of teaching folks (like me) about getting a healthy pup!!!!

Thank you for your candor and willingness to share - you always say things so well!!!!!!
