I agree with Ann, an Iris pen is a way more comfortable place for a pup to be enclosed in. I would never leave my puppy in a crate either. With the Iris pen, you can have a bed in there, and a pee pad or UGO potty. And a water bowl of course. I bought a couple of whelping pads from amazing that cover the entire floor of the iris pen. When one gets dirty, replace it with the clean one. Then your pup can relieve itself on the pee pad whenever it needs to, or get water whenever it is thirsty. Have fun with your new pup!
