These days, even your dog's food isn't safe. If you feed your pup Nutro Chewy Apple Dog Treats every time they sit or roll over, you may want to toss the rest of that bag, stat.

The Nutro Company recently recalled their apple dog treats due to a "potential mold" problem. One of their distributors, Petsmart, has now urged all customers who purchased the treats to immediately "stop feeding this product to your pet," according to The Dodo.
Not all bags have been affected by this recall, though. If your bag of treats has one of the following lot codes printed on the bottom of the package underneath the "Best By" date, toss that sucker out ASAP.

If you want to stay on the safe side by going ahead and tossing the item out anyways, that's totally fine too. There's nothing worse than a sick pup, after all.

But before you chuck them into the wastebasket, you should know that Petsmart is offering its customers a full refund if they bring in their remaining Nutro Chewy Apple Dog Treats to the store.
