Thank you for the well wishes. Believe me, Maxdog, if he is out of my sight for a second, I put the cone of shame on. I am literally keeping him with me all the time (except today, he's home with my husband). I am off all next week, thank goodness. Not that I'm happy about your situation, but it is nice to talk to someone who has been through this before. One of our main questions is a totally aesthetic one: Does your baby, Sasha, "look" any different? We can't tell that Zeusy looks any different without the hip joint there. His muscle was so atrophied his hip looked more funny before the surgery. They had a hard time diagnosing him, since he showed no pain when they manipulated the hip. I literally had to wait over a month for sets of x-rays to 100% indicate LCP. Poor baby's joint was collapsing on itself. Thanks for the advice!
