I thought they were just something we had to live with nowadays. I hate seeing potentially funny posts on FB (mainly from George Takei) but I hate clicking on the links bc usually the site will have either an auto playing ad/video at the top of each page or an ad that takes UP the whole page!
Frustrated, I clicked on the top right corner of the ad that says "Ad Choices" and you can opt out of the ads. You must have cookies turned on, and you must do this for each computer or device you have. So far so good. The ad is still there but it doesn't play.
