No way on earth do I believe those numbers. My guess is there were breeders amongst the "researchers". I definitely wouldn't pay for it.
And what exactly do they mean anyway? Shelters and rescues don't do any breeding.
The numbers should be about who is contributing to all the numbers of dogs in shelters and rescues.
