He just chooses when he wants a treat and when he can do without. Any tips are appreciated. #2. He got his shots a week ago and spent 2 days screaming in pain. I did a heating pad and he used a lot. Now he has a lump where he received his shots. Is this normal? #3. When should I take him for his first groom? He was born 7.21.15 #4 I have him on a grain free etc puppy food and he randomly spits up. I think it is because he eat so stinking fast and is so active. Is that normal as well? #5. He has tons of toys for chewing, yet he thinks our hands are chew toys and when he feels like it he is nipping on them. We try and pet and he wants to chew. HELP lol. Thank you all so much! |
So happy to hear the lump is gone! When Lacy nips at my hands I screech in a very high voice, and she immediately stops and looks at me. You have to do that every time Baxter nips at you.
How are you potty training Baxter? By taking him outside? You may want to put a piddle pad in the house for him. I use a UGO pad, (from Amazon) which has a plastic liner and grate on top, and I spray Nature's Miracle Potty Training Spray in the middle. I have had Lacy for about three weeks and she is 98% potty trained already on the UGO.
Good luck, hang in there, it will get better!
