Um, yeah, I also hereby order you to take down that... thing immediately! Lighting looks best when it comes in from a window, or in the case of a light, at eye level, so if you don't want a floor lamp, I'd suggest a wall sconce. though if you don't already have the wiring, you'll have to have an electrician come in. Lowe's has many styles and many of them are modern and clean.
