I have given mine Cheerios for many years, as treats....they love them and they are good for them! Mine also like Fruit Loops....I only give mine human food for treats....tiny pieces of Vanilla Wafers or Graham Crackers.....those little Fish looking crackers.....human grade treats only around here! I am terrified of treats bought at pet shops and pet stores....too many incidents of recalls and dangerous additives to them.
