I think it does no good to just abstain from buying from pet stores . If you're not seen, then you're not heard. But if you go in and gather up an expensive purchase and get up to the counter and happen to remember out loud that money spent there promotes the torture of innocent animals in puppy mills and you refuse to give them your business ... well, then you've educated the other customers and let the store know they lost business and why. And they'll remember you while theyre putting all the crap away. lol. But thats just how i roll.
