I have a 3-year-old neutered male (neutered at age 7 months) and a 1-1/2 year-old spayed female (spayed at 1 yr, 3 months). Suddenly my male does not want to leave my female alone. He is sniffing her back end and tries to ride her. Is it possible for her to be giving off some kind of scent because this is the time she would have come into heat? If so, is there anything I can do to stop this - please help!
