This is a lose-lose situation (because of the greeders). I agree that buying from the stores only rewards the wrong people and perpetuates the problem. But I agree with the OP - how can your heart not bleed for these pups? It kills my soul to see those sad eyes in those cages. I want to take every one of them home and squeeze them tight until they know they are loved. Lose - lose.
