THAT speaks volumes about that "breeder". At the age you were sold that baby, the "breeder" was not responsible for one thing financially....this baby has had NO vaccinations because it is too young to even be vaccinated....vaccinations dont start until 8 weeks old. Parvo is rampant in Texas....start this baby on vaccinations at 8 weeks of age, get the series of 3-4 puppy shots every 3-4 weeks until it has received its required shots....keep the baby TOTALLY away from other dogs and away from public areas where any other dogs have walked/lived because those areas are already contaminated with the disease.....keep it isolated until at least 12 weeks old and 3 shots have been given....hold off on rabies until the baby is closer to 6-8 months old, as that is a lot of vaccine to inject into a tiny puppy (and they do NOT, adjust the size of the shot according to the size of the dog....it is all just ONE vaccine dose, and the same amount is given to ANY dog, be it tiny yorkie or huge great dane).

Last, I would hope that anyone that is aware of specific people that are selling puppies at an illegal age in their State, which does NOTHING but harm to the babies to satisfy the outright greed of a puppy peddler, without a second thought for the outcome for the baby or the person that has been illegally peddled a puppy to satisfy the financial quest of a "greeder", I would hope this activity would be reported to the correct authorities.
The puppy did get vaccinations already (distemper, adenovirus 2, parvovirus, and parainfluenza along with deworming and a wellness exam) and he goes back next week for his 8 weeks. However, I do not let him go outside yet and he has not been around any other animals, nor, will he anytime soon.
