I would definitely suggest you read the training sticky threads in our General Training section - print them off and stick to them! If you do that, you should have success.

I do think yorkies seem to be quite notorious for having potty issues, but I can also tell you there are plenty of people on this board whose yorkies are perfectly potty trained...so have faith. It's really all up to you.
As far as aggressiveness...I have not seen this *at all* in any of my 3 yorkies...they are all friendly, loving, open, affectionate, energetic, goofy. My biggest advice to you there would be to *really* talk to your kids about how we are supposed to treat animals/other beings...and be totally honest with yourself as to whether they truly "get it" or not, ya know? In other words, do they see animals as something one can tease/mess with...or are they viewed as precious and vulnerable...?
