Piper was very quiet for the first few months (she was 3 yrs when I found her), but as she gained confidence she became more vocal. She is not, however, a "yappy" dog. She responds to knocks on the door quiet vehemently (and convincingly, I might add). For the most part, she's quite sweet, quiet, and observant in most all situations, reserving her tirade barks for my nice neighbors and my landlord (really, Pipe?! geeeezzz)!
