My older Yorkie, Teek will only eat in the evening. The little dogs have food out all day long. From the first day I brought him home Teek eats after 7pm at night. I have had him almost a year and he still only eats at night. He will go and eat an entire bowl of food, but he won't touch it the rest of the day. I am guessing it is because the people who used to have him were too busy (gone all day) to feed him until they got home between 7-9pm so he is just used to it. He is allowed to eat all day long and chooses not to. he is totally fine though with it. He is 7 lbs and I wish he would eat during the day but I can't get him to. Because he eats well at night I just let it be. The puppies eat when they are hungry. They are good eaters so I never have to worry about them. They eat at various times during the day.
