A light discharge from the eyes is not something to really be too concerned about unless it is getting worse and is discolored. She could have allergies...have you tried Benadryl to see if it helps? I have a foster right now who has red skin around her eyes....we tried Benadryl and also another antihistamine and she is now on Temeril P and doing fairly well. If she continues to have problems we may consider putting her on Apoquel....right now it is a wait and see what happens. Sometimes they just have seasonal allergies and don't need year round meds.
& I'll try to comment some pictures of hers too. & the discharge looks like the stuff we get in our eyes when we wake up but when I touched hers & removed it with my hand to get a better look it just look clear. & yes I'm trying allergy medicine now but she hates the way it tastes & it's hard to get her to take it. & that's what I was thinking, maybe since it's getting cold it's making her eyes water more often
