I thought the same thing before. spent ungodly amounts on 3 different vets because the first one had the audacity to suggest that Chewy had separation anxiety. Chewy would throw up ungodly amounts of food even when I hadn't fed him that much. It would swell up and then he'd throw it all up undigested . Every time he ate. For months. We tried pills to keep his stomach working to get it to digest, we tried special diets, expensive foods, simple homemade recipes, more prescriptions and nothing helped. I'd lay outside with him and just cry so certain he wasn't going to make it through the night. And come to find out the first vet I had went to was right. It all boiled down to severe separation anxiety. Too much change and nervousness. I spent more time with him and kept things a bit more routine and it eventually stopped and he was fine. Hopefully it's something that simple with you and not something medically wrong. Just thought I'd put that out there...good luck...
