Mine are like that too. all 3 them get so excited when anyone shows up that it's a given that the first two minutes of the visit are spent petting and loving on the girls and getting attacked when lightening fast tongues and complimenting Toby on his ball that he doesn't actually want you to touch. And Toby will even jump up and body slam the glass door when someone he really loves is approaching. He hasn't broken one yet but god it's dramatic and loud and scary. He's so stubborn I haven't found a way to curb that behavior yet. But two minutes of excitement and then they calm right down and settle. My friends have grown accustomed to it obviously, cause they still come around. but I feel your pain...threefold.
