Asian moms are a great source for urban legends. Two recent ones are don't eat sushi/sashimi bc you will get worms, and don't use chopsticks from restaurants/bring your own. Apparently the chopsticks are made of cheap chemical ridden wood from China (that part I believe) and better to bring your own metal ones. What's funny is they use mainly collapsible/telescoping metal chopsticks and not once have I seen my mother wash them. Just wipe them down, collapse them and put them back in her purse.
