There are lots of cute boy themed bows. I use the small scrunchies for both my little ones top knots. I got them at Wal Mart. Very easy to put in and take out and I think a lot less hair breakage compared to the rubber bands. I usually have to fix them a couple times during the day, but mine are so used to it that they just stand there and let me fix it.
